Ordering, payment, shipping, and what to do if something goes wrong. For questions about a specific compound — what it is, what the research reports, how to reconstitute it — see the product page for that compound, or the reconstitution guide. For background on the compound classes and where research peptides sit under Canadian law, see our Peptide Research Guides.
Ordering
How do I place an order?
Add compounds to the cart, enter shipping details, and check out. Payment instructions are sent by email once the order is placed — nothing is charged at checkout.
Do I need an account?
No. Guest checkout works. An account keeps order history and makes reordering faster.
Is there a minimum order?
No minimum.
Can I change or cancel an order?
Before payment is received, yes — contact us and it will be amended or cancelled. Once an order has shipped it cannot be recalled.
Payment
What payment methods are accepted?
Interac e-Transfer and cryptocurrency.
Why not credit card?
Payment processors do not reliably serve the research-compound category. Interac e-Transfer is the standard Canadian alternative — it is instant, it is free for most banks, and it does not depend on a processor’s willingness to work with the sector.
How does payment work?
Instructions are sent by email after the order is placed. Nothing is charged at checkout. The order ships once payment clears.
Are prices in CAD?
Yes. Every price on the site is Canadian dollars. No conversion, no exchange-rate surprise at checkout.
Shipping
Where do orders ship from?
From within Canada. Every order goes out by Canada Post Xpresspost with a tracking number, usually within 24 hours of payment clearing, Monday to Friday.
How long does delivery take?
Typically 2–5 business days by Xpresspost, depending on province. The tracking number is emailed when the order ships.
Is packaging discreet?
Yes. Unbranded, unmarked, with no indication of contents on the exterior.
Do peptides need cold shipping?
No — and this is worth understanding rather than assuming.
Lyophilized peptides are freeze-dried and sealed. In that state, most research compounds are stable at room temperature for months — BPC-157 sealed is stable for up to 24 months. Cold-chain shipping is often presented as essential; for a dry, sealed vial it isn’t.
What matters is what happens after the vial arrives: refrigerate on receipt, and store at 2–8 °C once reconstituted. Compound-specific storage is listed on every product page.
Do you ship outside Canada?
Orders ship within Canada. Contact us with any other request.
The Compounds
What’s in the vial, exactly?
The stated mass of lyophilized compound, and nothing else. No fillers, no carriers, no diluent.
Vials are measured by peptide content — the stated mass is peptide, not gross powder weight. This is not universal in this market and it is worth checking with any supplier.
Where are the Certificates of Analysis?
Every published analysis is in the COA Library, tied to the lot number printed on the vial. HPLC for purity, mass spectrometry for identity.
Why does molecular weight matter?
Because some compounds are sold across this market under a single name that refers to more than one molecule.
TB-500 is the clearest case: the name is applied both to full-length Thymosin Beta-4 (molecular weight 4963) and to a seven-residue fragment (molecular weight ~878). More than five times the mass, same product name. A purity test cannot tell them apart. Only mass spectrometry can.
Molecular formula, molecular weight, and sequence are published on every CompoundPlug product page.
Are research peptides legal in Canada?
Most are not controlled substances, and are legal to possess — but they are also not authorized health products, which is why they can only lawfully be sold as research chemicals rather than for human consumption. Both halves are true at once.
The full explanation is in Are Peptides Legal in Canada?, and our own position is set out on the Research Use Only page.
Problems
My order arrived damaged
Contact us with photographs and the order number. It will be resolved.
Something is missing from my order

My order hasn’t arrived
Check the tracking number sent when the order shipped. If tracking shows no movement, get in touch.
The compound doesn’t look right
Most lyophilized peptides are a white to off-white powder, and most reconstitute to a clear, colourless solution. If a vial looks wrong — discolouration, moisture, a broken seal — contact us before reconstituting it.
