CompoundPlug supplies two, and they sit at opposite ends of the same axis. HCG is an LH analog, acting at the bottom — directly on the gonadal receptor. Kisspeptin-10 acts at the top, triggering the GnRH release that starts the whole cascade. HCG is also the only compound in this catalog measured in international units rather than milligrams: it’s glycosylated, and the carbohydrate chains vary between molecules, so mass is genuinely the wrong unit. Identity-verified, published COA. Ships from Canada. Research use only.
HCG
Human chorionic gonadotropin — a 237-amino-acid glycoprotein heterodimer that binds the LH receptor, functioning as an LH analog. Measured in international units, because glycosylation varies between molecules and mass doesn’t capture potency. An approved prescription drug in Canada; research-grade material is not that product. 5000iu / 10000iu. → Buy HCG Canada
Kisspeptin-10
The peptide at the top of the reproductive axis. Loss-of-function mutations in its receptor, KISS1R, cause hypogonadotropic hypogonadism in humans — a direct causal human genetic finding, and stronger evidence than almost anything else in this catalog rests on. Currently out of stock. → Buy Kisspeptin-10 Canada
Frequently Asked Questions
Why is HCG measured in IU instead of milligrams?
Because HCG isn’t a uniform molecule. It’s glycosylated, and the carbohydrate chains vary between individual molecules — so two HCG molecules with identical amino acid sequences can weigh different amounts and have different biological potency. Mass is therefore the wrong unit. The international unit measures biological potency against a calibrated reference standard, which is the thing that actually matters.
Why doesn’t CompoundPlug publish a molecular weight for HCG?
Because there isn’t one. Every other product page on this site publishes a molecular weight. On HCG, a single figure would be false precision — glycosylation genuinely varies between molecules, so the mass differs. Saying so is more useful than inventing a number.
What does HCG do?
It binds the LH receptor, functioning as an LH analog — and LH is the pituitary signal that drives gonadal steroidogenesis. That’s why it appears in reproductive endocrinology research. Its alpha subunit is shared with LH, FSH, and TSH; the beta subunit is what makes it HCG.
Is HCG approved in Canada?
Yes — as a prescription drug. Health Canada has authorized DIN-bearing HCG products for specific clinical uses in reproductive endocrinology. Research-grade HCG is not those products, is not pharmaceutically equivalent, and is not a substitute for one. Anyone seeking HCG for a clinical purpose should obtain an authorized product on prescription from a licensed pharmacy.
