MOTS-c Peptide Dosage Calculator
Computes the reconstituted concentration, the draw volume, and the corresponding mark on a U-100 syringe scale.
For laboratory research use only. Not for human or veterinary use.
Reading the scale: the highlighted mark corresponds to the calculated volume on a standard U-100 insulin syringe — 100 units = 1 mL, and each numbered tick is one unit.
Reconstituting MOTS-c Peptide
MOTS-c is supplied at 40 mg, four times the mass of most single peptides here despite being a sixteen-residue peptide. 2 mL of diluent gives 20 mg/mL; 5 mL gives 8. The larger vial mass leaves more room in the usual concentration decision — there is enough material that a dilute preparation remains workable, where a 5 or 10 mg vial forces the choice sooner. Molecular weight is not currently on file for MOTS-c, so molar concentration is unavailable on this page and the result is reported as mass per millilitre only.
