PT-141 Peptide Dosage Calculator
Computes the reconstituted concentration, the draw volume, and the corresponding mark on a U-100 syringe scale.
For laboratory research use only. Not for human or veterinary use.
Reading the scale: the highlighted mark corresponds to the calculated volume on a standard U-100 insulin syringe — 100 units = 1 mL, and each numbered tick is one unit.
Reconstituting PT-141 Peptide
PT-141 is a cyclic peptide of 1025.2 daltons in a 10 mg vial. The mass arithmetic is the standard case: 2 mL gives 5 mg/mL, 1 mL gives 10. The point of interest is its near-identity with melanotan 2 at 1024.2 daltons — a separation of roughly one dalton across two structurally related melanocortin compounds. Reconstituted to the same mass concentration, the two sit at effectively the same molarity, making this one of the few pairs in the catalog where mass and molar comparisons converge rather than diverge.
